Gowing Law Solicitors are currently looking for a MRICS Qualified Building Surveyor to join our expanding Housing Disrepair team.

We are looking for a MRICS Qualified Surveyor to conduct Housing Disrepair Surveys for tenants who are in desperate need of assistance.

Your own transport required, fuel/travel expenses will be covered by us.

  • 2 Days per week (1.5 days outdoor, 0.5 days working from home)£600 per week
  • 3 Days per week (2 days outdoor, 1 day working from home)£900 per week
  • 5 Days per week (3 days outdoor, 2 days working from home)£1500 per week

What we offer:

  • Training from senior Surveyor with vast Housing Disrepair experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct surveys on properties in need of repair advising whether you agree with the defects as claims, whether the defects are structural, the cause of the defects, the age, character and prospective life of the property, completing a Scott’s Schedule and providing an estimate of the cost and time for the repairs.
  • Produce detailed report to detail findings.
  • Use equipment and tools to accurately identify disrepairs

Experience requirements:

  • MRICS qualified
  • No other experience required, training will be given.
